Workaway Booking Terms and Conditions

1.1. Bookings will only be deemed to be confirmed once full payment has been received. 

1.2 Payment plans are available on request.

1.3 We reserve the right to postpone the Workaway dates that you have booked if the dates that you have booked undersell. We will alert you to this at least 2 weeks before the date of your booking. In this case we will either return your payment or you can
choose to take another date.

Cancellation


2.1 In the event that you choose to cancel your booking due to a change of circumstance please inform us immediately by phone and email. All payments received are non-refundable - unless we are able to resell your tickets which we will endeavour to do.


2.2 Force Majeure - In the event of a forced cancellation as a result of any meaningful unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control or beyond the control of the hirer that is unavoidable then an alternative date at no extra cost will be offered. If the hirers cancel the booking as a direct or indirect result of the forced cancellation, a partial refund may be given depending on the circumstances. This will be offered on a case by case basis and any refund will need to be supported by evidence. An example of such events may be - natural disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions (flooding, snow, severe storms), death or severe illness.

Check in details

3.1 Check in time is at 8am and check out time is 5pm on the last day of your Workaway booking however you will need to check out of your room at 11am. 

3.3 We want you to feel at home in The New Economy Centre so please treat it with the same respect that you would treat your own home. On departure it is your responsibility to ensure that areas you have rented are of a reasonably tidy standard and are in the condition that it was found.

Flexible Booking Policy

4.1 The New Economy Centre at Selgars Mill is a covid-secure venue as such we have implemented sensible safety measures to protect both our guests and staff members and remain happily open for bookings.To protect our customers even more, and due to the uncertain
nature of the coronavirus pandemic, we have established a flexible rebooking policy. This will enable our customers to have peace of mind when booking with us and security for their reservations.


4.2 Our regular cancellation policy will apply to all bookings; however, we will be operating a Flexible Rebooking Policy during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

4.3 In the event of a booking cancellation, either by us or the customer due to UK government guidance on coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions, the customer will have the flexibility to move their booking to alternative available dates within 12 months of their booking . The available dates will be determined by the venue and communicated to the booker during the process of the agreed transfer.Once the rebooked dates are confirmed the customer will not be able to change these again, unless this booking is subsequently affected by COVID-19 and venue closure, and the regular cancellation policy will then reapply. The flexible rebooking policy is only available for cancellations related directly to government changes to coronavirus (COVID- 19) restrictions and venue closure, which may affect your residential booking at Selgars Mill. Flexible rebooking is not available for cancellations related to weather, participant cancellations,
personal circumstances, or other reasons

 

4.4 All deposits are non refundable as stated in the booking form that we ask all hirers to sign and return to us. This remains the case for all bookings or cancellations. Full payment for bookings is required two weeks before the booking to allow for the best guess scenario
planning. However if government restrictions change within the two weeks prior to the booking the Flexible Rebooking Policy is to be referred to. If Selgars Mill as a venue cannot find another available date within 12 months of the postponed booking then an 80% refund will be offered.

 

4.5 In the event that Selgars Mill needs to cancel your booking then a full reimbursement will be given. In other instances of cancellation by the hirer for any reason not covered by the Flexible Rebooking Policy, the standard booking procedure will remain.
